Born and educated through school in Nottinghamshire, where her parents and grandparents were shopkeepers.
Lynnda went to train as a Science teacher studying in Leeds for three years. During her time at college she also
studied Mathematics and Print Making. Lynnda taught Maths and Science for twenty years working in two schools both in Yorkshire

After leaving teaching, Lynnda went into the family business where she created the retail arm of Apollo Office Supplies.
This company went on to open a specailist craft shop "The Craft Place" in 2005. Lynnda not only ran this shop she also did
the majority of the teaching for workshops and classes.
Lynnda has supported many charities in the past few years including, Breast Cancer Care and Macmillan Cancer Support.
She contributes to the community, working with the local chamber of trade and the towns renaissance partenership. She is also
Chairman of the town's Volleyball club although she no longer plays the game herself.
Lynnda has also studied horticulture and garden design at the local college and she also enjoys tap dancing

Lynnda enjoyed all kinds of papercrafting but the method that kept her attention the longest has to be stamping
" I just love how versatile it is, it isn't one thing, it is many." "stamps are just a method of transferring a design,
the rest is up to you"
Lynnda's stamp designs currently reflect her love of her garden and it is images from this garden that appear in her
stamp designs. The garden is very much her own work, when the family moved into their present home the garden was completely
blank.
" we moved in in December with nothing but mud and about three paving slabs, not one blade of grass"
" The one feature we did inherit was a well established field hedge which is where you will find our Oak Tree. It is
also the home of the dog rose"
